FIFe Show Rules — Art. 2.3
Qualification Requirements
Only cats of the following categories may participate in the Winner Show:
- Fully recognised breeds and their fully recognised varieties
- Fully recognised breeds and their varieties under preliminary recognition
- Breeds under preliminary recognition and their varieties under preliminary recognition
- Domestic cats (house cats)
Cats must belong to individual FIFe members.
Minimum Qualification by Class
Classes 1–6 (adults & neuters)
No qualification required. Cats that have obtained the title of International Champion, International Premier or higher are automatically qualified.
Classes 7–10 (adults & neuters)
3× Excellent 1 in classes 11–12, or 1× Best in Variety in classes 7–12, or 1× Nomination for Best in Show in classes 7–12.
Class 11 (juniors)
3× Excellent 1 in classes 11–12, or 1× Best in Variety in classes 11–12, or 1× Nomination for Best in Show in classes 11–12.
Class 12 (kittens)
No qualification required.
Class 14 (domestic cats / house cats)
1× Nomination for Best in Show for domestic cats. No qualification required for domestic cats with the Distinguished Show Merit (DSM) title — automatically qualified.
Validity Period
In all cases where qualifications apply, the valid period is the 13 months prior to the Winner Show.
Verification and confirmation of qualification for the Winner Show is carried out by the National Federation or Club where the exhibitor holds their membership.

Health & Vaccination Requirements

Trivalent Vaccine
Annual trivalent vaccination is mandatory for all cats. For kittens and juniors, two doses are required, at least 15 days before the show.

Microchip
Microchip identification is mandatory for all cats participating in the show.

Rabies Vaccine
Required only for cats coming from outside Spain. Annual booster required. Must be administered at least 21 days before the show.

Domestic Cats
Domestic cats older than 10 months participating in a FIFe show must be neutered.

Veterinary Decisions
Veterinary decisions are independent and final. If a cat shows symptoms of illness during the check or show, that cat and ALL cats of the SAME EXHIBITOR must immediately leave the venue.
